I am a User Experience Generalist. My UX superpowers are prototyping, ideating and people. I have multiple experiences from e-commerce to Betty Crocker to banking and on to the marines. I have been successful at every turn and am flexible to meet any UX or product design needs. My former teaching experience provides for many soft skills and perspectives that are not clearly defined by my resume. I am eager to learn and learn, grow and mentor.
I possess a unique combination of UX Design, Information Architecture, and User Research skills. I am well suited to work with a team or independently. I am very capable of working on the fly and with tight deadlines. I have excellent presentation and leadership skills.
My previous careers have given me great insights in working with people, granted me empathy and patience, and given me a greater understanding of psychology. I have 12 years of experience being a Special Education Teacher, 8 years as an Adjunct Professor, and 3 years as a Learning Specialist. I have many years of experience doing a great many things related to User Experience.
